If you're 16-17 and passionate about neuroscience, you won’t want to miss the Neuroscience Summer School in Cambridge. This two-week program, organized by Oxford Summer Courses, explores the brain’s chemistry, functioning, and influence on thoughts, feelings, and actions. You’ll study the brain's structure, nervous system, behavior, circuits, sensory functions, cognition, and development. Discover where learning originates and the brain's untapped potential. The course encourages you to set ambitious goals for yourself, take part in Q&A sessions, develop your critical thinking in our masterclass, and explore careers options with help from expert speakers. Learn the Oxford way with tutorial-style teaching. The expert tutors guide self-directed learning in small groups. You’ll complete two assignments, reviewed in 1:1 or 2:1 tutorials, and receive personalized feedback. Enjoy seminars, tutorials, and independent study sessions with evening socials, full-day excursions, and assigned accommodations.

Oxford Summer Courses was established in 2010 by two Oxford University alumni, Harry Hortyn and Robert Phipps. Offering a diverse range of over 40 subjects tailored for ages 9 to 24, their summer courses are hosted at prestigious university colleges and boarding schools in iconic cities including Oxford, Cambridge, London, and more. In 2023 alone, over 2,380 students experienced Oxford Summer Courses.
