Dive into the wonders of the mind on this Neuroscience Summer School in Cambridge, provided by Oxford Summer Courses. It’s designed for inquisitive students aged 13-15. You’ll explore how our brains function, from basic cell operations to our daily thoughts, feelings, and actions. Learn about the nervous system, the brain's influence on behavior and personality, and how our senses shape our experiences. There are interactive workshops to develop your skills in teamwork, debating, and collaboration. The small classes of no more than eight students, mean you receive personalized attention as you engage in group work, and lively discussions. Oxford Summer Courses was established in 2010 by two Oxford University alumni, Harry Hortyn and Robert Phipps. Offering a diverse range of over 40 subjects tailored for ages 9 to 24, their summer courses are hosted at prestigious university colleges and boarding schools in iconic cities including Oxford, Cambridge, London, and more. In 2023 alone, over 2,380 students experienced Oxford Summer Courses.
