Data Science 101
Course Details
This course provides a hands-on introduction to statistics and data science, covering topics such as data visualization, regression, and statistical testing. Students will manipulate real-world data and learn about statistical and computational tools in weekly lectures and labs. The course aims to develop students' ability to think critically about data analysis and carry out their own analysis. Prior statistical or programming knowledge is helpful but not required. Freshmen and sophomores interested in data science, computing, and statistics are encouraged to enroll.
Accomodation
1.Stay in a classic undergraduate residence hall.
2.Residences will have a lounge, common area, laundry facility, and computer cluster with printer.
3.You will most likely have a roommate and you may be placed on co-ed floors.
4.Eat meals with fellow students in a nearby dining commons.
5.Dining options support students with food allergies, religious requirements, medical needs, and vegan/vegetarian diets.
