Course Details
Join our Medicine course to explore the intersection of genetics and lifestyle, two key factors in health. Gain a broad base of knowledge and skills, covering topics such as human disease, developmental biology, stem cells, and regenerative medicine. Develop the expertise needed to advance breakthrough cures and treatments.
Accomodation
1. You will stay in modern single rooms at University College London (UCL), which are occupied by university students during the academic year.2. The rooms are located at the Schafer House campus, a popular student suburb in London.3. The accommodation is situated near several local Tube services, providing easy access to countless attractions, museums, and restaurants.
Tuition
1. An expert tutor will lead interactive seminars in small groups, with no more than 8 students.
2. Two pieces of independent work (essays or problem sheets) will be completed by each student during the course.
3. The tutor will evaluate the work in either a 1:1 or 2:1 tutorial, providing feedback and an opportunity for discussion.
Extracurricular Activities:
1. Discover the best of British culture and beyond by visiting its wonderful landmarks.
2. Explore on foot, by bike, or via the tube.
3. Experience the country's rich cultural heritage and diverse offerings.
Oxford Summer Courses was established in 2010 by two Oxford University alumni, Harry Hortyn and Robert Phipps. Offering a diverse range of over 40 subjects tailored for ages 9 to 24, their summer courses are hosted at prestigious university colleges and boarding schools in iconic cities including Oxford, Cambridge, London, and more. In 2023 alone, over 2,380 students experienced Oxford Summer Courses.
